Niagara Falls: My First Canadian Adventure!

“Better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times” – Asian Proverb

My new life has officially begun! Well, the mini vacation before reality sets in has come to an end. No complaints though as it was fun. Spent time with my family and met some new ones with whom i’ve bonded. While I mostly stayed home (definitely no complaints from this home body) I got the chance to cross one thing off my bucket list already. Niagara Falls!

Whew chile! My body is still sore from all that walking but it was worth it, and I will definitely be back. It’s one thing to look at photos/watch videos, but, experiencing it in person takes it to a whole other level. Nature never ceases to amaze me!

As expected, it was busy; but bearable. It was apparently less busier than usual, maybe because we went in the middle of the week and later in the afternoon. I thought it would be the falls and not much else, but I was pleasantly surprised. After we were finished at the falls, we had dinner then went over to the park. I never expected there would be so many activities, honestly. We rode on the Sky Wheel which is a 175ft Ferris wheel from which we could see the falls and got to watch the fireworks. There was also go karting, mini golf, bowling, etc. as well as multiple restaurants to choose from. I will do those on my next visit for sure!

While my visit was short, it was thoroughly enjoyed. Now it’s time to face reality and put my big girl boots on. I feel like I’ve started over so many times in my life, one transition after the other. While it’s nerve racking, I know God’s got me (when has he ever not?) and I will be ok.

Lots more life updates and fun adventures to come from this new chapter.

Beautiful shot of the falls! God’s awesome creation for us to explore and enjoy, glad you could make it there. On another note, I absolutely love the hair!! You will need to feature the stylist on your next blog post??

    All the best!
